About Dr. Yuhua Su - Statistician and Statistical Consultant
Dr. Yuhua Su obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics from the North Carolina State University (U.S News best graduate school ranking) in 2011 under the direction of Dr. Jason Osborne (NCSU Statistics alumni). Dr. Su also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Finance from the National Chengchi University (graduated in 2001), a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (graduated in 2003), and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics from the North Carolina State University (graduated in 2006).
Back when she was a graduate student at the North Carolina State University, she started to provide statistical consulting services and she enjoyed explaining statistical procedures and findings to her clients. After graduation in 2011, in addition to working as a junior researcher at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she decided to continue offering statistical consulting services to students, researchers, professionals, and businesses. Dr. Su is now an independent statistician and statistical consultant, residing in Hawaii.
